The AVAST Color Guard is a well-respected Color Guard dedicated to providing a professional addition to your event.  Members of the Color Guard are all volunteers and are passionate about creating a program that honors the country, veterans and all people that comprise these United States.  They are in demand in the Tampa area by professional sports teams, political events, both large and small gatherings where their professional presence is requested.  Appearances are booked for a nominal donation to AVAST.  Call early to ensure your date is available, because the Guard is in demand and their calendar books up fast.

If you are interested in volunteering for the Guard or booking them at your event, contact Rudy Salas, Commander at 813-928-1631.

Rudy invited Ona and Robin to accompany him at the St Pete College 18th Annual Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon. AVAST gave two checks that will go toward two scholarships. One goes to the Ed Suckiel Memorial Scholarship and the other goes to the AVAST Annual Scholarship. Both scholarships go to students in the prosthetic and orthotic college. To be eligible students have to have a veteran in the family. AVAST scholarship funds are provided by donations given to the AVAST Color Guard.
